Toilet Paper Is Dangerous?!

Don’t look twice or three times. You read it exactly right! Most of the population isn’t even slightly aware of the toxic influence of the bleached and softly colored soft and multilayer toilet paper.

Well, first off, there are more than 100 000 chemical substances that are used in the production of the standard commercial toiler paper?

One of the worst is actually present in most of the stuff we buy in Supermarkets:

  • such as milk,
  • diapers and napkins,
  • toiler pads,
  • wash-machine stuff and detergents,
  • toothpaste,
  • coffee and even tea filters etc. We talk about chlorine bleach. It is a chemical substance made to whiten and clean the most dirty areas.

It also creates many dangerous reactions and toxins, such as dioxin and furans, which, when accumulated into our bodies, can create a really dangerous state of the body for the overall health of our organism.

Another scientific fact, rarely shared

“bleached paper is believed to be the most cancerogenic chemical known to science”! this is because in the whitening process in the very making of toiler paper, paper mills use a chlorine-based chemical to bleach pulp white.

When these chemicals react with the molecules from the wood, which the paper is made from and other fibers, they cause an allergic and even a stronger reaction, because they can enter the organism through the open pores.

The chlorinated and whitened toilet paper actually contains the highest amount of furans from all the cosmetic and toilet tissues there are on the market.

Once the dioxin, which is the bleaching byproduct is released in the vast air and environment, it is persistent. No known natural bacteria can dissolve it and break it down. Scientifically explained, “dioxin is often used as a catchall term for three actually toxic chemical groups: true dioxins, furans and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs)”.

Well than, how to live without one of the most needed household supplies? We don’t suggest to use newspapers or towels. just focus on finding a type of toilet paper that is as organic and as untouched as possible, without any chlorine, bleaching byproducts and other scent chemicals. The purer – the better for the skin, and also, cheaper and better for your pocket!
