7 Natural Ingredients for a Healthier and Longer Hair

It is the dream of most ladies to have long, luscious and voluminous hair, free of breakage and dandruff, giving the scalp a proper base for the growth of hair. But sometimes “no matter what we do”, the hair doesn’t seem to grow or perhaps it is due to the chemicals we use that our hair react to and does the opposite of what we want it to do. Cayenne pepper

Who knew pepper could work wonders for the hair? This will help for the fast growth of hair, especially where there is more thinning of hair.

How to do: Mix 1 teaspoon of pepper powder and 2 teaspoon of olive oil and apply to the scalp of hair, especially the thinning area, leave it on for 10 minutes and wash off with cold water. This should be done once a month.

Potato juice

Potato juice is another natural ingredient that is good for hair growth as it is rich in vitamin A, B, and C. Potato aid for strong hair and thinning of hair. It is rich in vitamins A, B, and C.

How to do: Cut and peel potato slices and blend to bring out the juices. Apply the juice to your hair and leave for 15 minutes then rinse off with a shampoo.

Henna pack

Henna is also a successful product for hair growth. It serves as a natural conditioner, gives the hair a vibrant look and a beautiful color to add. It also strengthens the hair from the root.

How to do: Mix a cup of dry henna to half a cup of yogurt, then apply to the hair from root to the tip. Allow to dry, then wash off with shampoo. This should be done once a month.

Try the “inversion” method.

The “inversion” method is when you invert your head so it is below your heart, stimulating blood flow that can then encourage hair growth. Lay on your bed and allow your head to dangle off the edge of the bed so your neck is supported on the edge of your bed.

You should try to remain in this position for 4 to 5 minutes a day. Though there is no scientific proof that this method works, it is a harmless method you can try to encourage hair growth

Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is also a natural helper. It helps to clean the scalp and balances the pH of the hair, aids in hair growth.

How to do: Make a solution of water and vinegar. A big batch for usage when you don’t want to be mixing every now and then is, 75 ml of apple cider vinegar in 1 l of water or a 15 ml of apple cider vinegar for a small cup of warm water. Use this only after washing your hair, use it as a final touch or rinse. It will give you hair the shine and aid hair growth.

Make your own egg mask

How to do: Blend or squeeze out the juices from the vegetable and apply it to your scalp for about 10 to 15 minutes, then rinse off with a shampoo.
